No. Intermittent fasting is just the latest gimmick.

Real fasting is best. Don't go back to eating during the day at all.

Second best is drastic calorie reduction every day. Like 200 or 300 calories a day.

Intermittent fasting is once again people trying to find ways to continue to eat and hoping how they eat will make a drastic difference. It won't.

Make your body burn the fat everyday and every hour by drastically cutting your calories below the minimum 1000 your brain burns without doing any exercise.

A d don't take up exercise while first starting drastic calorie reduction. Lose the fat then start eating and doing exercise when you are lighter and your joints won't break.
