>I predict that the Yellowstone Caldera will erupt sometime in the next 10 years.
It has been very active lately. Taking a side path in the convo real quick; do you think they'd detonate to prevent a massive eruption? Do you think they have a plan to do that or let nature run its course?
I've been seeing a lot of reports of earthquakes in and around California. Did you know that in the 1600's there's maps and documents stating that California was an island??
I don't think they would use explosives to try and cull it. I think they'll just allow it to happen honestly. I feel like the land they've been buying, ie. Bill Gates, is or around safe areas. One example is land in Southern Arkansas. The only thing close there is the New Madrid fault line, which didn't affect this area.
I have heard about the island theory. There's even "ancient" maid depicting it if I remember correctly. I grew up in California and have heard a lot of stories about it. Interesting "native" legends and shit like that. I live in Oregon now and have noticed that quake activity has even picked up in this state and Washington (Saint Helens region) at an abnormal level. Where're you at?
Dude, my girlfriend and I drove to California a few months back. We traveled through Arizona and New Mexico. The valleys with all the mesas looks like an empty fucking lake bed or something.... All the black volcanic rocks in New Mexico... It just connected, especially after watching SpaceBusters Comet's and Cataclysms...
I'm in the Southern United States.
Have you ever driven through that area??
