Wow lots of misunderstandings about science here.
1 you're uncle is using talking points he does not understand.
2 you also don't understand.
The vaccine limits the amount of viable host for a disease to take hold in a population. Those un able to receive vaccinations for REAL reasons are protected for the time being. Larger % of people stay unvaccinated. Most vaccinated people will be ok. Hell with COVID specifically most unvaccinated will be fine. But the issue is even if you catch it and are totally fine you have given the virus not just a host but the ability to mutate into a variant the vaccine does not protect against and something that is actually tremendously dangerous You both really need to do better research into this.
It's a cold virus that has a 99.95% survivability rate and has killed 0.18% of the US population "with Covid" (not from Covid). People who are okay rolling the dice on catching it and surviving should be free to go about their business now that the magic jab is available. If people are still scared they have the option to socially distance and stay home.
Your feelings about the jab are irrelevant here. When you argue from feelings your argument is already flawed. I explained the science to you as it understood. Don't like it? Tough. I don't agree with your uncle by all means I don't care if you get the jab if you are that scared. But you need to acknowledge the less people that do the higher the risk of this being dangerous becomes.

Those numbers will only improve with the jab. "Muh mutations" is irrelevant as the jab takes care of those too.

Since you seem to have researched the jab, how will people not die from Antibody Dependency Enhancement? How did they fix that problem in the Covid mRNA jab?
