Or it would be, if the whole thing was not being affected by open threats of rioting if the defense doesn't get the verdict they want, which is "guilty" on all charges, with recent memories of the utter hell on Earth that was the riots that occurred last time. And if the jury wasn't doxxed by corporate media agencies who are known to be thoroughly corrupt and threatening to give out their identities to people who would hurt them and their loved on should they not get the verdict that they s clearly want, which is "guilty" on all charges. And if members of government weren't calling for the blood of those involved n the case, such as the judge, should they not rule "guilty" on all charges, basically "send an innocent to jail, or lose your entire livelihood, at the very least, and deal with us abusing out power to making your life as miserable as we could, and possibly even arranging a premature end to it". But the trial is one-sided, on the side of the defense, the reality of how a honest and reasonable and non-coerced jury would rule after such a trial is "not guilty" on all charges. Prosecution is clearly knowledgeable that no one is holding them to account for any misconduct they engage in, they emotionally manipulate the jury, they present perjurous testimony, submit evidence that was modified due to political pressure, basically pull all manner of bullshit that they shouldn't have been allowed to get away with, I'm thinking to show off just how openly dishonest they could be. Nevertheless, the whole case of the prosecution is convincing, until the defense gets to poke holes in it, and the whole case against former officer Chauvin just totally fucking collapses. It's like seeing an intelligent design apologist giving a moving and convincing speech on why Evolution and the Big Bang Cosmology is not scientifically justified, then seeing the Evolution side completely shatter their whole case, and make such a counter-attack, that you realize that the only way the "team design" guys could have won was either by speaking in the absence of opposition, or, as in this case, by rigging the whole contest through means of coercion or corruption, like in this case, through threats and intimidation where violence is on the menu should the result not be ruled in their favor.
