If you read the insert that comes with the inhalers it says that prolonged use can lead to many issues, yet they prescribe it as a maintenance medication.
It's fucking nuts.
Especially when the prescribing doctors give you shit for not taking it every day and only saving it for allergy season.
They only cure symptoms is the problem, which is why people with COPD generally drop for "no reason", after years of continuous medication regiments. Most of these medications actually worsen the CHF/heart failure by increasing tachycardia and right sided heart issues. Nothing to see here though ...
I was on inhaled corticosteroids for 20 years. Started a keto diet and now asthma free. Just got in from an 8km run.
No medication. No symptoms (unless I eat sugar then it comes back)
What? LOL! How are you supposed to look any different from someone without COPD?

In terms of oxygen and additonal supplements. The doctors in my case are surprised that when not on oxygen i beat a healthy guy on a stress test. So this caused a lot of misdiagnosis, because the doctors couldnt understand why i had COPD and somehow exhibited none of the symptoms.
