I don't disagree but it's also silly to keep harping on shit like this, of course the previous generation is responsible for the state of the country but the previous generation before them was responsible for the state of the country they left as well.... and really as we can all clearly see the common man has no effective recourse or say and this country has been going off the rails since 1913 at least, if not 1865 or sooner. Violence is the only solution and we don't have the numbers for that yet.
The system is flawed, when a program crashes you don't blame the last set of bytes in memory you blame the programmer.
How long can we blame boomers though? They've been taking the blame since the mid 90's. They should nearly all be dead in the next 10 or 20 years.
I mean, I agree with you. But I've seen the boomers ridiculed in the media for the past 30 years. My point is that it seems like blaming boomers is a tactic to trick people into divorcing themselves from personal responsibility the same way a nigger is told they deserve reparations. It ends in the "victimized" party having an excuse to be lazy.
However, from your suggestion, using that blame as a catalyst for real upheaval and change, now I can get behind that.
