Yes, that's exactly what they are like. I never thought I'd be seeing this happening in my lifetime. Of course, if I had been more of a student of history, I might have seen it coming. I think when it first happens, denial and disbelief take over for awhile, until so much evidence accumulates that denial is impossible. I believe that's the present state of this country now. I just hope it's not too late to reverse course.
