Hard to tell from this photo, but the SS rooftop appears to be of a generously higher elevation than the shooter’s rooftop. Given the low pitch on the shooter’s rooftop you’d think he’d be in at least partial to absolute full view of the SS’s position the moment he gained access to the roof. If he could clearly be seen from the ground you’d think he’d be even more clearly seen from the higher elevation. Which he obviously was, as the two SS snipers definitely had him in their sights for some time.
Given the shooter’s building was the staging area for local/state LEO security, housing three I think of their sniper teams, is it possible there was some confusion by the SS sniper team as to who had gained access to the roof and why? The shooter’s non professional attire you think would be a clue, but being on the rooftop of the very building housing outside subordinate team members there had to be a huge wtf moment for the SS sniper team and then that confusion went right on up the chain to the shot caller. And so before any of this confusion could be answered through the chain with any certainty or speed because of multiagency clusterfuk, the shooter was inadvertently given the time to make his intent and identity all too clear.
Not to make excuses for anyone, but I can see the above scenario easily taking place as from a SS sniper’s point of view anyway. Now for everybody else down the line, you got some serious ‘splain’n to do. Seriously, ffs a lot of ‘splain’n. Then again, we have a (((1000+ year “all the world is a stage” epidemic))) still very much in progress so there is still that to always, always consider and keep in mind.
