You know, a whole lot of people end up in jail, who wouldn't otherwise, because they just don't know when to shut the fuck up. I am an example of that (knowing when to shut up). Many years ago I got arrested for a serious felony. I didn't talk to ANYONE about it, other than my attorneys. Not even my drinking buddies. Of course, my attorneys assumed that I had been talking about it to friends because that was what they their clients usually did and they wanted me to make a deal. I told them fuck that, I ain't confessing to shit! I hadn't talked about my case with anyone but them. I had even had classes when I was a Marine on how to resist interrogation and the guys giving those classes were a lot scarier than "Andy and Barney" who had been questioning me. Someone later told me that the Sheriff had mentioned to them that I was the "coldest" suspect he had ever questioned. LOL. Oh yeah, did I mention that they had an eye witness? Problem was, she was such an habitual lier they didn't dare put her on the stand. Finally, the judge got fed up with the prosecutors and dismissed the case. They tried to refile on me but the state Supreme Court said no, once a case has been dismissed by a judge it would be double jeopardy to charge me again. So, my buddies threw me a big party at the VFW and that was the end of that. The morale of the story is, keep your fucking mouth shut!!!
