Dude was on officer exchange program with Uvalde PD.
If that's true, the shooter probably rushed his shot.
20 years old, no known military experience, knowingly going to assassinate a massively well-known presidential candidate, already noticed by the public shouting him out to law enforcement, supposedly already confronted by a LEO while up on the rooftop, must have a fair idea he's likely not coming back from this alive regardless before this moment - unless on drugs or SSRI's i imagine this guy would be lucky not to spill a full cup of water - all in all i can totally see him (thankfully) fcking the shot at the climax.
The person in blue retreated down the ladder
Runs toward danger, something something, thin blue line....
This coward should be run out of town.
Nah buddy. 'Get to go home' is their mantra.
Whether you die or someone does instead of them is the entire unspoken point.
I'm aware of that however the community that just lost an upstanding citizen because the person contracted to confront danger didn't, hopefully feels differently and runs this ass out of town.
Oh yea, no disagreement here from me. I just imagine the cop having his dept cover for him with some stupid ' he almost died' hero worship.
If true, cops seem to be getting to be bigger cowards than I thought
Barney Fife like.
After audience members pointed out to local law enforcement officers that Crooks was climbing a ladder onto the roof of a building, the officer followed and eventually confronted the would-be assassin.
Wait, did the shooter have a ladder?
