Dust particles are huge, masks are made for dust.
If they got mesothelioma and claim 9/11 clean-up was the likely cause of their it, I'd imagine they weren't wearing masks, or for cancers other than mesothelioma, l doubt 9/11 dust had anything to do with it.

Asbestos fibers can be incredibly small. Smaller than viruses.

So how do you know the workers Trump hired were wearing masks all the time they were in the pit? I would bet they weren't.
I can't say because I don't know for sure. What I can assume is that the workers were most likely OSHA compliant because Trump only had one OSHA violation over the years, and it was his subcontractor's fault, not his.
Regardless, I'm sure his subs were fine with helping to rescue people right after 9/11. It was the patriotic thing to do.
