I'm not for more kids for the sake of more kids. The historic demand for more children was to have more potential soldiers to throw into war; nowadays it's to have more people to pay for social security.

I'm also not for deliberate depopulation, and I'd be happy with eliminating a lot of the rules and regulations that tend to disincentivise parenting.
