All branches of science have been subverted and corrupted, some moreso than others. The forced application of a world view on science that is the complete opposite of reality has deformed and disfigured science to a degree not seen in Western nations for over four centuries. The only thing comparable is the Lysenko years in Soviet Russia. Science cannot operate under the irrational constraints imposed on it by the liberal fascists of the Democratic Party.
