20 ton dump truck. 4 is my power gear… 1, not necessary unless I’m real heavy or starting on a hill. 2, just a stab to the throttle and I’m ready for three, but it’s usually over-rev and straight to four. Getting pretty good at shifting without the clutch, even when the gauges drop out.

No wonder, put some fuel in it so you don't have to push.

Oh she gets a belly full of go juice every afternoon. Fuel gauge is the funniest one, either full if the other gauges are working (they aren’t more than they are), or empty if they aren’t. There is no in between. Odometer is stop and go. Air pressure stays true. Radio works after a good rain. Still haven’t had time to fix the cable to the pto, so I crawl underneath to drop my load. Good times!

Sounds like there is a loose guage cluster ground wire.
