Not at all enough electricity to charge a juice-sucking big ass battery. Alternator works to recharge one little battery, indirectly converting gasoline into engine torque into minimal recharge electricity. And perhaps you haven't noticed but that small energy draw does slightly lower your fuel efficiency.

But, electric battery recharging itself? Perpetual motion. Make it work and sell me the patent before Detroit murders you. Thanks!

Im talking big fucking alternators to charge the big fucking batteries. Come on man, get with me.

I wish I could be with you on this, but every conversion includes fuel-wasting inefficiencies and resistance. I'm no electrical engineer, but I once worked for one! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Newman%27s_energy_machine

Hear me on this: IF MY WHEELS ARE TURNING, WHY ARENT THEY SPINNING SOMETHING THAT IS RECHARGING THE BATTERIES.? How hard is this? Say the car has four motors, one at each wheel. Forget a big battery, the hull of the vehicle, like a Tesla, would have a massive generator rather than a battery. You don’t even need a battery to drive a car. You need a battery to start a car. In my scenario, you would still only need a smaller battery to get the car rolling, then the generators would take over and power the car. The battery would be bigger than a die hard form sears, but it would still just start the car,.
