This right here is another reason that if you absolutely have to do a U-turn on a two lane road, you don't take your tractor off of the rd. You push your trailer off the road to turn around. If a bobtail can make the U-turn, you can do it with a trailer too. Of course, it's ideal to avoid U-turns as much as possible.
