It was suggested decades ago to build the "regular" interstate 'up' (like an overpass or interchange) and to have the trucks have their own interstate on the actual ground. Would have been insanely expensive, but would have been interesting to see.

A portion of the New Jersey Turnpike is divided. One side for cars and trucks; one for cars only. There are a few other roads like that scattered across the country but it is cost prohibitive and requires a lot more land.
