I know I can just use the road atlas but I was wondering if anyone knew of any apps or websites that assist in dodging weigh stations.

I'm rarely over weight on my axels and it's even less common for me to be over gross but I'm currently over on both (The one time a shipper loads me and they mess everything up.) It's been a pain in the ass to have to keep pulling over to check the map and find a route around the scales every time I get near one.

I only have 1 more scale to get around this trip and I already found my route. This is more for future reference.

Revenue. Plus the heavier we are on the axels, the harder it is on the road. Ever see those "Trucks use left lane" signs in construction zones? They do that because they're using the shoulder as a right lane temporarily and we will tear that shit up.

They also pull us in for truck inspections and to make sure our logs are in compliance. It's easiest to just run at night as most scale masters run banker hours.

I drive out of state for work. So I never have to hit the stations. Honestly sometimes truckers piss me the fuck off. I get it your hauling heavy shit. However, passing another semi doing 65mph in a 75. While your truck can only do 68mph. So it takes you 10 fucking miles to pass. While I was doing 75. Very annoying. I would be ok with sperate lanes.

I'm with you on that. I try to stay out of the way as much as possible. We're governed faster than most though so I'm usually keeping up with most of yall.
