11foot8.com is the sight , and the bridge is now 12'4" , still not enough so not sure where the 2 inches came from, someone guessed wrong I suppose.
For faggots in cars , 13' or 13'1" is the normal max height for trucks and rv's, you get used to clearing bridges etc with 14 foot clearance in mind. They build them that high for max load carrying.
Basically A 13 foot truck ain't clearing a 12 foot overhang.
