I'm a working professional and have a good career, but seeing how in demand truckers are I've considered getting a CDL license if for no other reason just to have. Is it worth it? Is it hard to get? Any tips from the pros?

No. Not worth it if youre not really considering driving full time.

Take a look in your area for short-haul trucking. Home Depot, Lowes, places like that often require a CDL too, but I don't know how well they pay.
