I'm a working professional and have a good career, but seeing how in demand truckers are I've considered getting a CDL license if for no other reason just to have. Is it worth it? Is it hard to get? Any tips from the pros?

Yes. Totally worth it.
No. Not worth it if youre not really considering driving full time.

I have a Class B with tank/air brakes/hazmat that I need for wildland firefighting, and I'm working towards my Class A. My employer is helping me with training. Gaining skills and credentials is always worth it IMO, especially for something so essential, and double especially if you can train on the clock.
