This actually happened to me not long ago except it was just a full blown suicide by a teenager and his father watched it happen from the shoulder of the interstate. It really messed with my head and still does occasionally. For instance, I thought the whole jumping awake from replaying the scene in your dreams was just some Hollywood bullshit. It's not. I hope this driver is able to deal with it alright.
