Desserts.
Context:
I mentioned that it would be cool if Poal commemorated the Treaty of Paris. Ivan asked if people celebrated it what would the celebrations involve. So I started designing the holiday. I'll link to what I replied with and share some highlights.

Desserts are the main feature of Treaty of Paris day. Some small meal should happen first. Grilling is suggested because it's towards the end of being able to do that for some.
Desserts can adopt from winter/fall traditions and summer traditions. Pumpkin pie, apple pie, trifle is particularly seasonal with Treaty of Paris day, and so is red, white, and blue jello with whipped cream, though it can be replaced with red white and blue cake.
The main course is less set but one recommendation is burgers, sweet corn. It is typical that the desert course is larger than the main course. The main course is just to claim you ate something real. Incorporating bacon is not wrong.
Apple picking on Sep. 3rd is very traditional because it is the middle of apple picking season. Raspberries are also in season and can be used in your jello, cake, and trifle.
Another activity is decorating hard boiled eggs as humpty dumpty ( crazy King George III). American football is also good because it's American. Making an effigy of King George and beating him is also fun.
We can celebrate it together as a Poal holiday like Ocho de Poal.
Treaty of Paris Day, or Top Day, celebrates the winning of US independence and the end of the American Revolutionary War on Sept. 3, 1783.
It is a day of both historical and seasonal significance, recognizing the coming of fall just as our forefathers would have on that day they succeeding officially in asserting their independence from Britain.
On this day, we celebrate with a light meal — preferably grilled so as to enjoy the great weather as the season changes from summer to fall — and a seasonally-themed dessert. Pumpkin pie, apple pie, or trifle are good traditional examples, but there is no limit to what you can do. (There may even be a little friendly competition over who can make the Top dessert).
This is the day to start your homemade hooch — be it apple cider, beer, wine, mead, or infused spirit. Another activity is decorating hard boiled eggs as Humpty Dumpty (memeing King George III). Homesteading activities such as soapmaking or canning are also great ways to celebrate.
Football is permissible, but don't make it the center of the day. This is about heritage and history. And dessert.
