So we're on this road trip, father son bonding trip and I noticed a lot of interesting behaviors he has. I know he's been through a lot with my mother being sick and everything but but some of his behavior patterns have been his MO since my earliest remembering. Granted I'm not perfect but I try to be a quieter human.
He flew planes all his life so he can't hear and won't get hearing aids no matter what and constantly coughs. I believe it's COPD but the doc ain't bitting on the diagnosis. We still have another 6 days together and I'm trying mentally to not have a meltdown and start screaming at him. We're sharing a room which is tough. I like it quiet but he likes to watch brian kiljoo on foxjoo all day and uses a sleep noise on his phone that can be heard down the hall. I wear earplugs but good grief. Anyone have any ideas on traveling with your older father?
