It used to be more popular than it is today. Honestly I’m surprised any are even still around, I can’t remember the last time I heard anyone suggest or mention they went to a hooters. They get around discrimination laws by hiring “models” and not waitresses/hostesses, otherwise they’d have to employ some men in the front. Cooks are pretty much all men but the food is terrible, legitimately no reason to go at all
