Leagues should be able to set up their own rules independent of the law. If athletes don't like it, and in this case they have very strong reasons not to, they should pursue a different league, and we should support those leagues. This is part of freedom of association. If a league wants to have weight classes and exclude people of a certain weight from competing in certain groups that's fine. If they want to have no weight classes that's fine. I'd rather live in a world where the law has no ability to enforce an opinion on how competitors can be classed and thus be able to have white sports.
