Damn tootin'. They are a foundation of a functioning society. Notice how the pillars of society are always referred to in a feminine way - Mother Nature, Lady Liberty, the (breast)milk of human kindness, etc. In fact, none of us would be here if not for a women experiencing the pains and joy of childbirth.
