No way... I had no idea that nettle could be used for that. I’ve always assumed it was best for tea to treat upset stomach, and that’s about it. Cool to know.

It's lovely in soup too. You can use it most places you'd use something like spinach or sorrel. Once it's cooked the sting mostly disappears so it's just tasty leafy greens.
The stems can also be used for making fiber like flax.
