With my wife, I always take a very active role in pursuing the truth, and talking about it every day. She’s often tired of hearing it and not interested. But over the years she’s grown to agree with me on just about everything.
I’d suggest putting your foot down about media consumption. Gently but firmly. Make your position known, voice your intention, and then insist that you don’t permit that kind of nonsense in your home.
If you frame it constantly as “new discoveries” as I have, it works really well. You “just found out” that director is a pedophile? Well shucks, guess we can’t allow that in our home.
Sounds like a thing I might try.
I've been giving her for our few years together info, which largely she has taken in. The black characters in movies aren't realistic in her view anymore, yet she still is reticent to hear the jew pill... and why things like Netflix aren't good for her.
Maybe I'll take the step of simply saying I don't want to allow Netflix in the house anymore. Starting with the support of that child sexual exploitation movie they just made last year.
One day a time I guess.
Like with quitting any vice, the time occupied by it needs to be filled up by something, or there will be a relapse. Don't make her quit cold turkey with nothing to replace it.
