...are amazed when I bring my home-cooked meals to work for dinner (I work 330p-12a). They are nothing too fancy. For instance I made stuffed green pepper one day, my coworkers were practically drooling. A few times a year we have a potluck. Everybody always brings store bought food. We had a potluck on the 4th and I made a huge batch of succotash. It was all eaten by only 8 people.

I still have alot to learn with cooking. But I have been learning and trying since I got married in 2012. What is sad is that the women who are most amazed are 20 or 30 years older than me. It just blows my mind.

The current trend in home economics is delivery for everything. The new wave of internet start ups are food delivery apps. You can now have everything from premium foods like Whole Foods delivered to UberEats delivering your local restaurant food too your door. Everything you want to eat at anytime of day is now available to you.

Cooking from scratch is a lost art and it's slowly being marketed out of existence.
