You hate Boomers, because you're stupid. All of the shit you thought Boomers did was done by other generations. The political decisions were all made by Silent Generation people. The demographic shifts were all made by Gen-X and Millennials. Boomers were caught between them, and have never fully taken the reins yet, and probably never will, because of the new demographics favoring shitweasels such as "The Squad."

Boomers get taunted all the time about buying off-brands, by Millennial goobers. My four-year-old generic android phone is a source of derision amongst the yout's, who all sport either iPhone 14s or Galaxy S22s. They also like to crack wise about my 20 year old beater import, since they all have either a Prius or a Tesla. Oh, and you should hear what they say about my cheap off-brand shoes and clothing, since they seem split into two groups, either "pajama bottoms and lootbox t-shirts" with their anime-themed footgear, or "sportsball team" with their name-brand shoes, usually Nike.
