I think I will find I'm in the minority with my opinion, I think it depends on the situation, and I believe if you are married its permanent, if she cheated then there is something wrong with her and I believe for the most part she humans can change and improve. So I'd say give the ultimatum if its a first time thing, fix your shit.

People can modify behavior through will and routine and liberal application of perspective modification, but the core stays essentially the same unless it goes through extreme circumstances. That's how I view it. It is respectful to stay together especially if there are kids.
