I read somewhere that the left-right spectrum isn't linear, its a circle and the extreme's are really the same. These guys seem to be the place where the extremes meet.

I have been forever confused about political ideologies but things started to make better sense for me when I started looking at the political spectrum in a multivariate way (i.e. not just a two variable/axis overton window). I think the "wrapping at the ends" happens because they are missing a variable to measure and with the limited (and not adequate) variables it appears to be the same at the extremes. Here are some examples of variables: collectivism vs private ownership, socialism vs capitalism, freedom vs authority, etc.

Politics is a matter of cycles, mostly

Offer and demand, or put differently;

Hard times create strong men,

Strong men create good times,

Good times create weak men,

Weak men create hard times.

...

Take anti immigration parties for instance, they wouldn't score if there weren't issues with immigration, there wouldn't be a need for those anti immigration parties without those issues

Take blue collar workers, the harshness of their working conditions was the breading ground for marxist movements. But once these working conditions/wages improve significantly, when blue collar workers become white collar or when their children become white collar... They start to vote differently for the most part, the ranks of the parties defending blue collar workers' interests start to shrink, naturally

When the system serves the interests of a few at the expense of everybody else, at some point, anarchism tend to become a common ground for the majority, because everybody start to have an interest on bringing down the existing order, entirely, and start over

No, we are facing collapse because people keep attacking the foundations of civilization as if it were automatically a good thing to do because of muh "creative destruction." People who think in platitudes can't build civilization because they can't build anything. Nobody built a bridge with trendy sayings and intentionally trying to do a bad job. Nobody maintained a damn the same way. Nobody maintained a civilization that way either.

It's these people and the socialists who are at fault. They are both people more interesting in looking cool and sounding smart in one given moment, than actually thinking about problems and applying care to important issues.

They claim man is not that civilized. They should speak for themselves. By that they are a self fulfilling prophesy and I think that's what they mean to be, because they somehow fool themselves by their own words to think it makes sense. Basically what he is arguing by saying "man is not that civilized, we need to prepare for harder times because of apparent collapse. Therefore what we are doing is smart." Is the same as saying man is not that disease resistant. Look we can already see the signs. Therefore we should spread as many germs around as possible, because buckle up buckaroo, you might as well get used to pestilence. I guess especially so because we are about to cause it.

If this man's words resonated with you at all then you are an idiot. This is why we need eugenics. Those of you dumb enough to think that causing a problem is automatically the solution to it's existence can go ahead and get eugenified. And those of us capable of managing a civilization can do so without your retardation.

I think it really is that simple. The Frankfurt school concepts of deconstructionism and problematization have crept in because people have a broken (or lack of) sense of virtue and merit.

For example, if that extinction rebellion faggot wanted to do something about the problems in society he could become somebody worth emulating instead of looking for ways to agitate and pick away at everyone else's flow. While he claims his movement is racist it shows he doesn't understand the fundamental difference between fascism and communism. Kind of like how people who don't understand Logos or true virtue will try to emulate it with accounting and accumulation of deeds.
