But I've written about pits. I had one from a puppy and for 7 years. Plenty of time together. It was clear I was the alpha of my house. Very smart dog. But I never trusted her. Once she had a urinary tract infection and was very, very aggressive. 75lb tank could rip my face off if she wanted too. Also not great around other dogs.

I know people are mixed on pits but I see them as a liability.

That happened to a tv presenter on one of the Denver stations a few years ago. She was trying to pull the dogs head next to hers for a close-up shot and the dog snapped at her face and torn her lip.

So what set it off? Her face being close to its face? It's not like she jumped at it. She'd been petting it. She was doing like we all do with big dogs. We want to let them and hug them. But I'll be damned if it isn't always a pit that just isn't wired like other dogs and they're hard to figure out. If the answer is to just always be weary and distant, then they shouldn't be inside. They should just be security systems.

Listen faggot. All behaviour is downstream from genetics. This is trivial to demonstrate: border collie vs a golden retriever.

It ABSOLUTELY is not the owner in any shape or form, it is the genetics of the breed. The ONLY thing an owner can do is train the dog WITHIN THE GENETIC PARAMETERS OF THE BREED. No matter how hard an owner tries, he will never be able to make a golden retriever into a border collie and vice versa. This is simply NOT a thing. Likewise, no matter how hard a trainer tries, you cannot train a sitting time bomb out of a pit bull, ever, they are simply that dangerous.

It's like this with dog people:

Chihuahuas: "OMG, they're all yelp so damn much and they're so high strung!" - It's genetics. German Shepherds: "They can be very protective and you have to keep them active or they will get bored and tear stuff up!" - It's genetics. Jack Russell Terriers: "OMG, they're so high energy! You gotta keep them active!" - It's genetics.

Pit bulls: "OMG, they're so sweet and loyal and they would never hurt anyone unless the owners are bad." - It's the owner.

Edit: and now, in 2022, they really are mostly just nigger dogs. Most humans will get ordinary dogs like labs/retrievers. But niggers love chasing trends and right now, that trend is pitbulls. I'm old enough to remember when niggers preferred rottweilers. Watch. In the future, niggers will move on to Cane Corsos or something. Whatever trend they chase, it'll have to be a scary, tough dog to help make up for their own insecurities.
