I have had a small firework blow up in my hand. I can't imagine how fucking much it would hurt and how much damage it would do to have a flashbang blow up in your hand. You are probably going to never use it again even if they can save it. I was lucky, it was small, it sucked for a few days but didn't cause long-term damage (I think).
