I suspect the data from that application is likely from NOAA, which can be accessed directly from https://www.swpc.noaa.gov/#

NOAA is shit for forecasting. The data is niggerfied, and massaged.
I once had investment in a company and the meteorologist and algorithm he built and put accuracy was at about 87% where most are about 66-72% accuracy. It took noaa data and worked it better than most.
Data is only part of the process.
Now I have no idea if this app is good or bad. My point was more fuck Tim pool.
