It's long standing and clear precedent from the SCOTUS. Flag burning is free speech. You may not like it but that was decided. Trump's law will be overturned, unless the SC changes its mind.
I disagree with burning the flag as a form of speech, and I think a lot of issues can be directly attributed to those who show so little respect to their host nation. But I also respect the ruling, largely because of you read it, it does make sense what those justices were trying to say at the time. I'd you ban flag burning, it's a small skip to ban words, like we're already starting to see.
Also a step toward "compelled speech". Some states are trying to do this already.
"You will use the pronouns or you WILL BE FIRED".
Yup. Colorado is one. Failure to use someone (including children's) pronouns is a 5 year jail sentence and 15k fine. In addition, they can sue the individual rather than the business for such infractions.
