Please take a moment to silence your cellphone, quiet your mind, and pray in the fashion you best see fit.

Tonight, we Pray for the Dead. Another user suggested that:

have a Prayer for all those that have worked a long hard life and have passed into their final resting place. They are loved and missed.

I am sure that none of your are strangers to death, as nearly all of us have lost someone, be they close or distant, and if we live long enough, we will may end up losing everyone, at least in this Fallen world.

In that spirit, Pray for those who you have lost.

I will be Praying for a man I should have Prayed for more while he was living, and although he died a little over two years ago, I would like to say a few words about his life, and why he was such a magical person.

Johnson, not his real name, but a nickname I bequeathed him with, was my stalwart coworker and friend for many years. Back when I was bartending, at the shit-hole dive I used to work at, he was my cook and confidant, and continued to be my good friend after we were both put out of work by the pandemic.

He was quite possibly the best Poet I have ever met, although he would call it 'rapping'. He was older and tall and white, missing several teeth, and always willing to do the right thing, and was an extremely talented cook.

Unfortunately, or perhaps as it was meant to be, he suffered from a touch of the schizophrenia, which made difficult to employ after the pandemic, and he died a lonesome death in a homeless shelter.

Let us remember those that we miss, and Pray for them, and also, Pray for the knowledge of how to better help others, while they are still living.

May God Bless us all.
