And you know what, Theo? Thank you. No one has EVER asked me such a question before irl. Not even my kids lol. I remember my mom speaking about it once she hit her late 70s. I should have listened more closely.

Old ladies are kind of a paradox to me, because they seem to be simultaneously the most revered, and most ignored, people in society. Everyone intensely loves the old ladies in their life, be it a mom, grandmother, or treasured aunt. But if you don't know the old lady, they are one of the most easily dismissed classes in our society.
