Side note, only like 1% of the population fought the invasion. The citizens were mad that the emperor became Roman Catholic in exchange for Italian troops. The citizens were enslaved so bad Arabs turned white :/

It pisses me off that Byzantium was so much more powerful than Armenia yet they were the ones who fell and that they had practically given up at the end. I guess mountains really help.
