Police Report
Subjects were found initially off of State Road 375, appox. 25 miles North of Rachel, Nevada.
The dirt road was approx. 2-4 miles off State Road 375, to the west. Although most land appears to not belong to the subject in question, he was reported to still be grazing his cattle on public land.
Appox. 2-300 head of cattle/steer were observed to be grazing on public land. 2-4 men on horses were observed watching the herd.
Owner of the ranch proximate to the distal land owned by the Federal Government of the United States insisted he had a right to graze on the land, as it was "worth nothing, and mostly scrub-brush"
Current recommendation is a simple fine, of $1.25/head of cattle/day, since the beginning of the infringement.
