Ok, Short story, no longer than about a half page. Contains the walk of your choice where you are trying to enjoy the cool night but then the light starts to dim. Not just the street lights, all of the lights. Think the blackouts back in NY a decade or more back and for the first time you look up and actually see the sky.
You know, people called 911 because they did not understand what they were seeing? I have had the luck to live and travel places where you can sit somewhere that the nearest light source other than one you have is miles away.
