My first thoughts were awful, and greedy, and egocentric.

What if my Father couldn't think, or talk, anymore? How could he ever apologize to me for what he did? What if he doesn't remember what he did? Will that asshole get away with it?

Slow down, Theo. He didn't have a stroke to evade apologizing to you. That is the madness of a Poet, the Egocentricity of an Alcoholic.

No, he had a stroke for a different reason...

But why?

He most certainly needed to forget.

After all, how could he live with himself if he remembered the way he treated me during the Pandemic, when I alone was not invited to Thanksgiving, because I alone was not "vaccinated"...

For although he had committed that sin, in late 2022, he has since forgot...

And will continue to forget...

And I want an apology...

For something he can't remember...

He was lied to and manipulated into trying to coerce you to be vaccinated. Yes, that was a cowardly move, and he should be ashamed of himself, but your anger is displaced. Those that used him as their tool deserve your wrath. He deserves pity because he wasn’t strong enough to resist the propaganda. I was uninvited from several family functions, I’m sad that they chose their fear over love for me, but my anger is directed at the multiple “authorities” and media outlets that brainwashed so many decent people. I hope you can forgive him for not seeing through the bullshit. Be angry that the vax may have caused his stroke. Be angry that you may lose your father too early. Try to find a way to forgive him before it’s too late.
