I am the traveler A man of the road Always coming and going Seeing sights across the land

But no matter where I traveled North or South or East or West I was alone

One day I decided not to travel but to settle down instead

I then met a wonderful lady We spent a lot of time together I felt that she was what my life needed But at the end things simply did not work out I guess it just wasn't meant to be

I then wrote her a letter Before traveling once more

"I have enjoyed our moments together. Thank you for warming this loner's heart."
