Do not become the boogeyman,

Hold dear and tight this world,

And stand athwart the madmen,

who would divide us all,

make light and common fraternity,

purpose and toward cause!

move mountains hand in hand,

and may no man take up arms,

against his fellow brothers,

or against this common creed,

all men love,

all men bleed;

no war or thing on this good earth,

could deface our pride,

to call my fellow man, my fellow man,

to stand, to walk, to leap and stride!

with this joy that bursts, beating,

rapturous from my lips, from my chest,

from the burning in my breast,

let this purpose be your guide;

make the goodness of us all,

your fellow man, be a faith,

to which all abide.
