Police were called on sight after a neighbor reported disturbing sounds coming from the basement of their neighbor's rowhouse, located on the 2800 block of Franklin Boulevard. The neighbor had heard the sounds during the early morning, and didn't know what to think at first. >I had almost thought it was a cat being stepped on. That is what is sounded like to me, the same sound a cat makes when you step on its' tail, and it yowls real awful. I never thought it could be anything else. After the sounds were reported to local Animal Control, they found a grizzly scene, and the police and paramedics were called in. Officer Aaron Donald had this to say: >I've never seen anything like it. I don't care to describe it, because I wouldn't want anyone else to have to think about what I saw.
