Done. better?
I can definitely read the comment quite well now.
But my existentialism is still pretty bad, so...
You succeeded in making this Universe better in one small way today. And I think that is something that is actually praiseworthy.
All I can say, and I know that this is such a trite and "I knew you'd say that" answer, is to sit down and read a modern translation which has very clear language. KJV is great but it's easy to miss God's word in it.
For example, as I mentioned before, if you read Genesis 1, it's amazing how closely modern science has described the way a solar system forms to the way the earth is said to have been formed and set up in it. The only detail I see that doesn't line up is the way life was created. But if your trying to speak to very primitive people who need things explained in the easiest details possible, then suddenly, the way it was written makes a lot of sense.
Another book that makes WAY more sense in modern English (well, ALL of his writings are improved because he had such a strange way of writing) is the book of Romans. I think a lot of people miss the real point and the real points being made in it.
If you have the inkling, and don't mind a small challenge from a faggot on the internet, go to biblegateway, and try reading Romans in the NIV, CSB, or NLT translation. More than the gospels themselves which people have probably heard numerous times, it helps to clarify exactly WHY Jesus came to save us, and why we need him so badly when the rest of the world seems to be going to shit quickly.
Can you post any relevant verses to so all can read them?
