There is a Voice inside your Head.

It narrates your day, thinks your thoughts, plans actions and speech.

Your internal narrator.

It is not who your are.

Have you ever wondered why their is an internal monologue?

Schizophrenic's hear voices in their head, but they have the sanity to recognize that these voices are indeed, not their own.

However, most 'sane' humans do have a singular voice inside of their head, which they mistakenly conflate has their own.

I'm certain you have heard it. You might even be listening to it right now.

It is probably dictating thoughts, and possible response to this very post.

But it is there. It is talking to you. And it is telling you what to think.

Do you actually think that this voice, this internal narrator, is you?

Or is it something else?

Sometimes I get Linkin Park songs stuck in my head and it makes me feel like my internal narrator has a really fucked up sense of humor.

I don't even like Linkin Park.
