I disagree. I concentrate on how I perceive myself. I do not look to others for self affirmation. I know what I am capable of and I am the best judge of my efforts. If you are an honest, trustworthy and caring person, people want to be your friend.

Does your best effort matter?

Absolutely! It matters not to just me, but those that depend on me. No one is perfect. The people who tell you that you need things to be happy are just trying to sell you something.

I stopped caring about what others and myself think long ago.

Only things that matter are what people do and achieve.

You need to do less drugs, or more.

No drugs, just 100% Existentialism.

Little bit of coffee and weed, too.

In the beginning there was only God. It is impossible to describe this God because he was without qualities. We can only say that he was like nothing you can ever imagine.

At some point, a vortex formed in the substance of God. This is the great mystery of all -- why did this vortex form? Nobody knows. The vortex created ripples in the substance of God. God became light, but also darkness because you cannot have light without darkness.

God grew curious and looked at himself in a mirror. Which is to say, he looked inward upon himself reflectively. What he saw was God, because there was nothing but God. Then you had God looking at God. Still oneness, but duality in oneness.

From this duality of God eminated a distinct quality -- mind, which took the form of a spark. From mind eminated reception, which took the form of a vast bitter sea. In the depths of this sea, the first womb, all manner of other things arose that fill our universe as the spark impregnated the sea.

This is the creation story of the Kabbalists, in a compacted form. It is based on the metaphysical speculations of the ancient Greeks, and those of the ancient Egyptians as well.

The point of telling you this is to show you that the entire universe is, at root, God looking at himself in a mirror. Of course existence is about other people perceiving you, and also about you perceiving other people. We are all God looking at himself.

In the Beginning, there was Bullshit

And for some reason, this Bullshit begot more Bullshit, and the Bullshit it begot was maggots.

And we, the Maggots, feasted upon the bullshit that was reality.

It was our duty, after all, to live and thrive and turn into flies, and them create more maggots, so they too, could feast.

And none of us questioned, tor a single moment,

Why we were eating shit.

It's not about perceptions. What have you wrought?

I have done my best and I never attempted to deliberately harm another human, although I most certainly have, due to my own weakness.

I will never be good enough. No matter how hard I try, I will experience failure. And when I Fail, I will hurt other people.

This reality is flawed, and I cannot fix it.

But I will still try, and suffer for it.

>I have done my best and I never attempted to deliberately harm another human

Your perfection is admirable.

>If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted?
