He lives in my Heart. He eases my worries whenever I think of him. He tells me to be a better man.

I keep trying to find a Philosophical justification for existence, but I can't.

There is no justification for existence. You are meaningless in the grand scheme of things, as am I and everyone else. We do not even rise to the level of a spec in the grandness of the universe. So I live for me and my family. If I can give them a good life and happiness for their mere blink of existence in the span of time I did my job.

Every single adult conversion or faith restoration has been cringe. At worst they turn into some kind of extremist, and at best they turn into a vegan-like caricature constantly spouting the ideology that has become their very essence.

like I stated in a separate but equal post - I simply cannot dismiss the Epicurean influences that had shaped my growing up. I did the church thing for a decade and dropped it, I simply do not believe in God. I used to consider myself an Ashiest but again, it doesn't jive either; agnosticism does seem to have validity (to me), as it would account for ID (chaos theory). I do not believe in Jesus as divinity, and I am skeptical this man even existed especially since the bible was written many many years later from 'eyewitness accounts' and we all know how reliable those are! I do however believe in the allegory that is throughout the bible - don't be a cocksucker; be nice; be goodhearted; honor your family and love them, don't cheat, if you don't work you don't eat; and you give as good as you get. Beyond that, I don't go out of my way to fuck with anyone, I am a firm believer in chaos theory and the universe collecting its pound of flesh to equal things out is a thing - karmic really.

No where has god ever said "obey or suffer" or anything of the like. God has never spoken because god does not have a voice. Men speak in language and tongue and men have been the only ones to damn each other to the pits of hell for questioning or not following.

I have no idea. There's more than one religion in the world and hell/hades isn't talked about in all of them. The musicals Cats and Rocky Horror Picture Show exists though and I've done what I could to avoid them as both come off as being pure hell.

I think I got to glimpse Hell once.

It was a very odd dream on Human Sacrifice.

The man in charge of the ceremony told me there was no point in Human Sacrifice unless you could convince the victim to willingly go to Hell.
